As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State is stepping up its mobilisation efforts ahead of the party’s statewide campaign kick-off, where Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is expected to lead the charge.
With the campaign flag-off expected to draw party leaders, stakeholders and supporters, the Isoko North Local Government Area Campaign Council says it is putting structures in place to ensure a strong turnout and a rousing reception for the governor.
The council’s mobilisation drive underscores the importance the party attaches to grassroots engagement and local political structures as it prepares to take its campaign message across Delta State.
The event, scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026, will take place at Ekwerigbe Primary School, Ozoro, beginning at 12 noon.
In a welcome announcement signed by the Chairman of the Isoko North APC Campaign Council, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor, and the LGA Campaign Coordinator, Hon. Oviemuno Oghoore, the council called on party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to turn out for the occasion.
The council said the gathering would provide an opportunity for party members and supporters to come together in a spirit of unity and solidarity as the APC formally begins its campaign activities in the area ahead of the 2027 elections.
The campaign is being promoted under the theme, “MORE Plus: Progress and Prosperity,” reflecting the slogan adopted for Governor Oborevwori’s re-election campaign.
The council expressed readiness for the campaign flag-off, declaring that Isoko North is prepared to participate in the party’s activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
